Warren Haynes' Mountain Jam Returns To Hunter, NY June 4-6
Gov't Mule Headlines 3-Day Festival; Lineup Includes Levon Helm's 70th Birthday Celebration, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band, The Avett Brothers, Les Claypool, Yonder Mountain String Band, Drive-By Truckers, Dr. Dog and more.

Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule, The Allman Brothers Band, The Dead) has announced that the Mountain Jam Music Festival, will return to Hunter, NY for a sixth year, from Friday, June 4 - Sunday, June 6, 2010. Mountain Jam was recently named by Rolling Stone as one of the Top 8 Music Festivals in the country, on a list that includes Coachella and Bonnaroo.
Gov't Mule will once again headline the festival on Friday and Saturday night. On Sunday, Warren will be a part of the Levon Helm & Friends' 70th Birthday Celebration, which will also include performers Ray Lamontagne, Steve Earle, Patterson & David Hood, Jackie Greene and Allison Moorer, with more top names expected to added.
50 acts will perform on four stages throughout the weekend, including Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band, The Avett Brothers, Les Claypool, Yonder Mountain String Band, Drive-By Truckers, Matisyahu, Toots and the Maytals, as well as Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Dr. Dog, One eskimO, Jay Farrar (of Son Volt), The Duke & The King, and many others.

Mountain Jam is a three-day, all-weather event that offers camping, a natural amphitheatre with great sightlines from any vantage point, a variety of tasteful and healthy food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts and awareness villages and a children's area.
Warren Haynes, Rolling Stone's #23 greatest guitarist of all time, curates the event annually with Radio Woodstock. Haynes returns to one of his favorite cities, New Orleans, LA at the end of April for 3 shows: At the world renowned New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival with The Allman Brothers and Gov't Mule on April 25th and 29th, respectively and with Gov't Mule at the newly reopened and restored Mahalia Jackson Theatre on April 30. Gov't Mule will embark on a Summer World Tour which will conclude at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO Sept 4 featuring Special Guests The Avett Brothers.
