Gov't Mule brings their US Summer Tour to New York City on August 11th for a show at Central Park SummerStage. The quartet is known for its soaring live shows, with multiple sets that dig deep into their catalog and into the rock and roll song book with incredible covers.
Gov't Mule is touring in support of their newest release, the "hard charging" (Rolling Stone) 'By A Thread' featuring "Broke Down On The Brazos" and the latest single, the re-imagined traditional "Railroad Boy." Of the new single, Blurt Magazine says, "its a riveting, visceral, haunting tune, without question one of Gov't Mule's most elegant moments ever committed to record."
Vocalist and guitarist, Warren Haynes, a NYC resident, is Rolling Stone's #23 Best Guitarist of All-Time and has been deemed Best Rock Guitarist by Guitar Player Magazine two years in a row. Frontman Haynes is also a guitarist and vocalist in The Allman Brothers Band and The Dead.
Fan will be able to download this and every Gov't Mule show played within hours of their performance on their MuleTracks.com website, which to date has sold over 2 million live songs.
