Joachim Cooder, accomplished Los Angeles-based percussionist/composer, will appear on NPR’s World Café on May 23rd. Joined by noted bandmates Petra Haden, Juliette Commagere, Robert Francis, Matt Costa, and Inara George, Cooder will perform four songs from his debut album ‘Love on a Real Train.’
Magnet called the album “a delicate work of quivering harmonies…powerful in its resonance.” My Old Kentucky Blog described it as “gentle and lovely,” while MSN Music said that it is “a tight, 35-minute gorgeous slice of pop music."
