Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' - out this week on Interscope - has debuted at #1 on iTunes in 14 countries, including the U.S., U.K., Mexico, Italy, France, Germany, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Greece, Belgium, Portugal, and Luxemburg.
Earlier today (before 3 more #1's were added), Lana addressed her fans on Facebook, writing: “Thank you for making the record #1 in 11 countries. Your sweet words have softened the effect of even the harshest reviews. I adore you”
Lana has also been nominated for three NME Awards, including Best New Act, Best Song, and Best Video, following her recent nomination for International Breakthrough Artist award at the Brits. She will perform on Letterman this Thursday February, 2.
