Sonia Leigh, the fiery Georgia songwriter with "a voice that's an amalgamation of Bonnie Raitt, Chrissie Hynde, and Bruce Springsteen" (Cleveland Plain Dealer), premieres her new video for the rowdy single "Bar" on CMT'S BIG NEW MUSIC WEEKEND, beginning this Friday, April 27 at 6am ET.
"Pass that bottle, I'm jumping off this wagon / Never seemed to get me very far," Leigh sings with characteristic southern resolve.
The video, which was shot at Atlanta's Dixie Tavern where Sonia and label head Zac Brown cut their teeth, features cameos from Brown, John Driskell Hopkins, and Coy Bowles from Zac Brown Band. "Bar" will premiere alongside ten other brand new country videos during the exclusive world premiere event continuing all weekend long.
The latest single from Leigh's debut full-length '1978 December,' "Bar" is impacting country radio nationwide.
