June at Hill Country Live kicks off with a rollicking two-night 5-year anniversary party featuring returning favorites Heybale!, the first act to ever play the HCL stage and the performer for every Hill Country anniversary since. Since 2007, Hill Country Live has established itself as not only the premier destination for authentic Texas barbecue, but as NYC's home of Americana music. The month will also bring roots rocking scoundrels Hellbound Glory, the record release show of blues rocker Paul Thorn, ten-piece Austin soul band T Bird and the Breaks, and a very special charity event with The Sopranos' Big Pussy & The Bada Bings.
Heybale! - 6/1 & 6/2 - This five-piece Texas outfit features musicians who have played with Willie Nelson, Wanda Jackson, Merle Haggard, Brian Setzer and Johnny Cash including vocalist Dallas Wayne and guitarist Redd Volkaert.
