FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Rolling Stones' Charlie Watts, Victor Wooten, Leslie West, Bachman & Turner, and More Mark Les Paul's Birthday Month at Iridium
Fresh off a sold-out six-night run by the legendary guitarist Mick Taylor, The Iridium's got another Rolling Stone on tap for June, when drummer Charlie Watts kicks of his four-night residency with his band, The A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie. Also in store for June—the birthday month of the club's patron saint, Les Paul—are performances by Bachman & Turner, Jim Weider with Amy Helm, and the next installment of the "Guitar World & Iridium Present" series, featuring Leslie West of Mountain.
6/2-3: Victor Wooten - Known for his solo recordings and tours and as a member of the Grammy-winning supergroup Béla Fleck & The Flecktones, Wooten has won most every major award given to a bass guitarist. He was voted Bassist of the year by Bass Player Magazine three times and is the only person to have won the award more than once.
6/8-9: Bachman & Turner - After being apart for more than 20 years, Randy Bachman and Fred Turner—musicians at the heart of legendary Bachman-Turner Overdrive—will reunite for two special shows. In addition to classics like "You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet," "Takin’ Care Of Business," and "Let It Ride," which appear on Bachman & Turner's new 2CD release, 'Live at the Roseland Ballroom, NYC' (out 5/29 on Eagle Records), the band will perform two tracks that Les Paul personally taught to Bachman nearly 50 years ago.
6/11-13: Guitar World & The Iridium Present: The Leslie West Trio – Most noted for his role as leader of the explosive hard rock trio Mountain, which earned its place in rock history with an incendiary performance at Woodstock and has been named one of the Top 100 Hard Rock Groups of all time by VH1, Leslie West has recorded or played with a litany of rock icons including Billy Joel, Van Halen, The Who, Mick Jagger and Jimi Hendrix. The trio's 6/11 performance will kick off the second installment of the new "Guitar World & The Iridium Present" monthly series, which showcases world-class guitarists in the intimate venue.
6/22-23, 6/25: Jim Weider's Project Percolator w/ Amy Helm - Called "The King of Tone" by Relix, Weider replaced Robbie Robertson in the reformed Band in 1985 and has more recently played lead guitar for the late Levon Helm's band. He'll be joined by Helm's daughter, Amy (of Ollabelle), 6/22-23, and sit in with The Les Paul Trio 6/25.
6/29-7/2: The A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie feat. Charlie Watts - Much like The Iridium, with its dual pedigree as one of New York's premiere jazz venues and as a "guitar shrine" (NYT) for rock and blues greats, Watts is celebrated for his genre-hopping mastery. Dubbed the heartbeat of The Rolling Stones, his jazz-influenced rhythms and skill playing behind the beat were essential to the Stones' sound. Formed in 2009, The A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie have quickly established a reputation for themselves at the forefront of boogie woogie and will release their first live album, 'Live In Paris,' 6/26 on Eagle Records.
