Artist Growth, Caroline Partner on New Artist Discovery Network 'AG Accel'

Nashville, TN – Artist Growth, the "breakthrough" (Music Connection) business tool for musicians, is taking its career management platform to a new level with the launch of the AG Accel Network, a service where unsigned artists can be discovered by a network of industry partners based on tour history data and other real-world metrics.

Caroline, a full-service partner to the independent label and artist community, is the first to join the network. As part of the AG Accel Network, Caroline's associated labels can now discover, evaluate and potentially sign artists based on self-reported data from the road, including sales of CDs, merchandise and tickets.

To participate, artists with Premium accounts will now be able to opt-in to the AG Accel Network to make their data available to labels, managers, booking agents, promoters and brands around the world, providing an exciting opportunity for independent, actively touring artists to raise their profile and increase their chances of securing a record deal. At $14.99 per month, Artist Growth Premium's robust set of artist management features includes tour merchandise tracking, live performance royalty submissions, advanced scheduling, cloud file storage, revenue and expense reporting, and custom data exports.

"Independent artists today are entrepreneurs running startup businesses," says Matt Urmy, Founder/CEO of Artist Growth. "They are up against a tidal wave of digital noise, and just because an artist might not be an expert at using Twitter, they shouldn't be at a disadvantage. The AG Accel Network helps artists by using hard data to more accurately quantify all of their hard work, and offers a way to get those numbers in front of interested industry partners."

Dominic Pandiscia, President of Caroline, says, "Caroline is at the epicenter of the independent music scene and culture, and Artist Growth presents a new opportunity and point of entry for independent artists looking for exposure. We look forward to working with Matt and his team on helping to nurture artists within the Artist Growth environment."

"Artist Growth is the music business in a box," says Joe Galante, an Artist Growth investor, board member and former Chairman of Sony Music Nashville. "It's all there, and how you utilize the tools provided here can make or break you."
