NASHVILLE, TENN. - Thursday, April 24 - Citizengine, Inc., which conducts business through its two operating  subsidiaries, iCitizen Corporation and iCity Corporation, today announced the appointment of Stephen R. Collins to the company’s board of directors. With immense success and perspective in rapidly scaling technology focused organizations, Mr. Collins will be a valuable asset to both iCitizen and iCity.

Mr. Collins is a seasoned business leader with extensive management experience, particularly in developing disruptive and rapidly growing markets. His experience is wide-ranging, including significant experience in consumer products, online advertising, enterprise software, SaaS, social media and e-commerce.

His prior experience includes a leadership role at DoubleClick, Inc., a global Internet advertising solutions company, where Mr. Collins participated in the company’s startup and explosive growth phase—resulting in its acquisition by Google in 2007 for $3.1 billion. After his success at DoubleClick, Mr. Collins took on the roll of CEO for Juris, Inc., a company based in Nashville Tenn., that was a leading provider of technology solutions for use in the legal industry until its acquisition by LexisNexis in July of 2007. Another highlight of Mr. Collins’ impressive career includes his roles as CIO, CFO, and then CEO of Bazaarvoice, a SaaS company that provides a technology platform and network that connects brands and retailers to the authentic voices of people where they shop. Mr. Collins grew Bazaarvoice to a network where more than 400 million people view and share authentic opinions, questions and experiences with respect to approximately 20 million products every month.
