Give Your Baby Moves Like Jagger: Rockabye Baby! Lullabies Maroon 5, 8.19

Maroon 5 is receiving a baby-friendly transformation from award-winning lullaby series Rockabye Baby with the release of Lullaby Renditions of Maroon 5 on August 19th.  Maroon 5 hits like "Moves Like Jagger," "She Will Be Loved," and "Harder to Breathe" have all been reworked for newborns.

The band’s guitar-heavy sound, synthesizer backing beats, and Adam Levine’s emotion-soaked vocals are traded for a soothing pallet of sounds that includes xylophones, marimbas, wood blocks, and bells.  The band's iconic “One More Night” single cover art – with images of the band members etched into the title - is also reimagined, with the Rockabye Baby bears drawn inside a larger bear’s head.  The album's liner notes include Maroon 5-themed children's games and an aptly named baby food recipe – Spinach Will Be Loved.

Making rock music baby-friendly and kids' music adult-friendly, Rockabye Baby has given its lullaby treatment to the work of more than 60 artists including U2, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, The Smiths and Depeche Mode. The series has sold more than a million albums, has been praised by outlets including People, Spin and NME, and counts among its avowed fans Jimmy Fallon, Fergie, Elton John, Victoria Beckham and Ellen DeGeneres, who says the series "puts [kids] to sleep with cool music that you'll want to hear as well."
