Modest Mouse's New Album 'Strangers To Ourselves' (Epic) Debuts At #3 On Billboard 200

Modest Mouse's first new album in eight years, 'Strangers to Ourselves' (Epic), debuted this week at #3 on the Billboard 200, and at #1 on the Rock, Alternative, Vinyl, and Internet charts. The band also earned a career-high debut on the UK Official Albums chart. For three weeks in a row, their single "Lampshades on Fire" has been the #1 song at Billboard's Alternative chart and at AAA radio. 'Strangers to Ourselves' has earned accolades in Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Time Magazine, NME, USA Today, and more (see below for quotes). Modest Mouse are also the first band to perform for the launch of the Late Late Show with James Corden, where they debuted "Be Brave."
