St. Vincent To Play SNL Season Finale

St. Vincent will make her SNL debut on the show's May 17 season finale, which will be hosted by Andy Samberg.

The performance follows St. Vincent's standout appearance with the surviving members of Nirvana at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Barclays Center earlier this month (HBO will air the telecast May 31). St. Vincent--aka Annie Clark--just wrapped up a US tour, selling out the largest venues of her career in support of her self-titled fourth album on Loma Vista Recordings, which debuted at her highest Billboard chart position to date in February. NPR's Bob Boilen called her DC performances among the five best shows he's ever seen, the LA Times called her live set "riveting," and Rolling Stone hailed it as "charming, sexy, and scary."
