Tash Sultana, the twenty-one year old self-taught multi-instrumentalist, has released her new track, “Murder to the Mind.” The track was recorded in Tash’s hometown Melbourne with Nik Miltiadou, who engineered her much-loved ‘Notion’ EP. On a day off from her sold out Australian tour, Tash bought a new Nord keyboard and was experimenting when she developed the hook for “Murder To The Mind,” and built the song from there. Tash is currently touring her home of Australia and this summer will kick off her international dates in the UK and Europe. Tash will return to the United States this fall for some of her largest stateside shows to date. All North American shows are selling quickly, with all Canadian dates plus shows in Brooklyn, Denver and Columbus being upgraded due to high ticket demand. Tash Sultana's 'Notion' EP (Mom + Pop) has made fans of the Billboard, NYLON and the New York Times, who called her “sweetly melodic, raspy and untamed.” While touring the US in February, Tash stopped by NPR’s Tiny Desk for a brief concert, which was released on April 7th. “It’s astonishing to watch Sultana’s fluidity on her instrument, like a natural extension of her body,” Bob Boilen writes of the set. Tash first wrapped her hands wrapped around a guitar at the age of three, and the self-taught artist quickly developed her own unique style that has people lining up to see her perform live. Tash’s vocal shines with a magical quality, she has a natural gift for melody and her virtuosic guitar playing is from another planet. Her carefully crafted, edgy, multi-instrumental pieces featuring beat boxing, unique guitar work and percussion styled finger tapping, has left audiences in awe. She honed these performance skills busking on the streets of Melbourne, before having homemade videos go viral getting millions of views online.

Tash has been busy writing and will go back into the studio in June to continue work on her debut album.
