Downtown Signs Deal with Nashville-Based Publishing and Artist Development House Big Yellow Dog Music

New York, January 10, 2017 -- Downtown Music Publishing has announced a deal to administer the catalog of prominent independent music publishing and artist development company, Big Yellow Dog Music. The Nashville-based company represents top songwriters such as Grammy winners Meghan Trainor and Josh Kear, CMA winner and Grammy nominee Maren Morris and many more. Big Yellow Dog Music has experienced worldwide success with hits such as "All About That Bass", "Lips Are Movin" and "No" co-written by Meghan Trainor; "My Church" and "80s Mercedes" co-written by Maren Morris; "Need You Now" (performed by Lady Antebellum) co-written by Josh Kear; and "Before He Cheats" and "Blown Away" (performed by Carrie Underwood) co-written by Josh Kear.
