Lake Bell’s "What’s The Point?” Adds Castmembers

LOS ANGELES (April x, 2016) – The Film Arcade announced today that Mary Steenburgen (A Walk in the Woods, The Last Man on Earth), Paul Reiser (Concussion, Whiplash), Amber Heard (The Danish Girl, Magic Mike XXL), Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show), Dolly Wells (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, 45 Years) and Chace Crawford (What to Expect When You’re Expecting, Gossip Girl) will be joining Lake Bell and Ed Helms in What’s the Point? (And Other Fair Questions About Marriage).  The film, written and directed by Bell, is currently in production in Los Angeles.

 

What’s the Point? is a comedy investigating the concept that marriage should be a seven-year contract with an option to renew.  The story is told through the lens of a pretentious documentarian (Wells) and follows three couples at various stages in their relationships.

 

The film is produced by Bell (More Films), Jett Steiger (Ways & Means), Miranda Bailey and Amanda Marshall (Cold Iron Pictures) and executive produced by Jason Beck and Andy Bohn (The Film Arcade).

Steenburgen is repped by UTA and Management 360, Reiser is repped by The Gersh Agency and New Wave Entertainment, Heard is repped by WME, Wells is repped by UTA and Anonymous Content, Cenac is repped by UTA and David Martin at Avalon and Crawford is repped by and UTA and Podwall Entertainment.
