MLB Network Launches Sweepstakes To Win Tickets To See Zac Brown Band

Fans Can Enter For a Chance to Attend Zac Brown Band’s August 26 Show at Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Meet the Band

June 6, 2017 - MLB Network today announced the launch of a sweepstakes for fans to have the chance to see three-time GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band perform on Saturday, August 26 at Wrigley Field, home of the reigning World Series champion Chicago Cubs, one of two stops the band will make at MLB ballparks this summer as part of their "WELCOME HOME" 2017 tour.

On July 29, Zac Brown Band will return to Coors Field in Denver, home of the Colorado Rockies, after playing the first ever concert at the stadium in 2015. The multi-platinum artists have played 14 MLB stadium shows since 2015 when they set a record for their three-night-stand at Fenway Park, selling over 100,000 tickets. In 2016, the band broke three new records at Fenway Park, which included the most tickets sold at a single concert, the most tickets sold over two nights of concerts by the same artist, and the first band to sell-out seven consecutive shows over three years.

Following the theme of Zac Brown Band's new album “WELCOME HOME,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Chart, and its single “My Old Man,” fans can tune in to “MLB Central” weekdays on MLB Network at 10am ET starting today through June 22 to watch for photos of MLB players with their fathers and children and a special code word to enter at MLB.com/ZBB to be eligible to win.

The grand prize includes two tickets to Zac Brown Band's concert on August 26 and two tickets to a Cubs’ home game at Wrigley Field, plus a pre-show meet-and-greet with the band and former Cubs pitcher and MLB Network analyst Ryan Dempster, round-trip airfare for two to Chicago, hotel, and ground transportation. Entries are limited to one per person during the sweepstakes period. Visit MLB.com/ZBB and follow MLB Network on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for more information.

This marks the second time that MLB Network has offered fans the chance to see Zac Brown Band in concert, following the 2015 sweepstakes on the weekday studio show “The Rundown” to see the band at its ballpark tour stop at New York’s Citi Field, home of the New York Mets.

About Zac Brown Band

Three-time GRAMMY-winning multiplatinum artists Zac Brown Band kicked off their 40+ date "WELCOME HOME" 2017 North American tour and released their new album of the same name on May 12 via Southern Ground/ Elektra Records. Rolling Stone says the Dave Cobb-produced album is "southern storytelling, rootsy instrumentation and the sonic swell of eight bandmates who, once again, are firing on the same cylinder."

Zac Brown Band's 2016 “BLACK OUT THE SUN” tour broke attendance records at Boston's Fenway Park and Camden’s BB&T Pavilion, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum hosted a career-spanning exhibition exploring the group’s rise to fame. All this built on the group’s three platinum-selling albums (‘Uncaged,’ ‘You Get What You Give,’ and ‘JEKYLL + HYDE’), 5x platinum ‘The Foundation,’ their 2013 project ‘The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1,’ 25 million singles and eight million albums sold, and a historic fifteen #1 radio singles, along with the distinction of becoming the second act ever to top both the country and active rock formats.

Zac Brown Band is managed by Southern Ground. The band is also represented by CAA, public relations firm Shore Fire Media and digital marketing agency Total Assault. Additional information can be found at http://www.zacbrownband.com/.
