BENTONVILLE, Ark. — From June 6, 2026, to January 25, 2027, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art presents Keith Haring in 3D, the first exhibition to highlight the iconic artist’s work in three dimensions. Opening alongside the museum’s long-awaited expansion and new temporary exhibition gallery on June 6, the exhibition features a wide range of Haring’s works, inviting visitors to move through and around his art like never before. 

Though Keith Haring is typically thought of as primarily a painter, Keith Haring in 3D focuses on a lesser-known yet highly compelling aspect of his practice as a sculptor. This exhibition marks the first time Haring’s three-dimensional work has been explored at this scale, offering new insight into an important yet underexamined aspect of his career. Keith Haring in 3D will showcase Haring’s sculptures, totems and masks, skateboards, clothing, boomboxes, paintings, drawings, and even a 1963 Buick Special, highlighting the breadth of his artistic experimentation. 

“One of the goals of this exhibition is to reposition Keith Haring within the creative networks that shaped his practice, especially the downtown New York scene of the late 1970’s and early 1980’s,” said Victor Gomez, assistant curator of contemporary art. “I think people are most familiar with Haring’s two-dimensional work, including paintings, prints, and commercial collaborations. Rather than focusing solely on his iconic imagery, this exhibition highlights the collaborative spirit that defined Keith Haring’s career—from his early subway drawings to his creative exchanges with artists like LA2 and Kenny Scharf.”

Visitors will experience how Haring translated his signature graphic style into physical space and form, from early painted objects and collaborations to immersive environments and large-scale sculptural works. Throughout his career, Haring worked across a wide range of mediums and collaborated with influential figures such as Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, as well as performers like Grace Jones and Bill T. Jones. 

“Haring’s creativity was never confined to a single medium, or to the picture plane. His three-dimensional work shows the full scope of his curiosity and boldness, and the sheer energy that he brought to the world,” said Glenn Adamson, independent curator. “The exhibition offers an entirely new perspective on this hugely influential artist.”

Keith Haring in 3D will be accompanied by a major book published by Phaidon/Monacelli, edited by Larry Warsh and Glenn Adamson.

A lineup of public programs will accompany the exhibition’s opening weekend, along with the unveiling of Crystal Bridges’ 114,000-square-foot expansion. Opening celebrations will include gallery talks, guided tours, live music, wellness activities, and Keith Haring-themed artmaking.

On May 5th in Baltimore, Open to Debate and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University will host the latest debate in their ongoing partnership, “The Hopkins Forum.” The event will bring together two teams of scientists and economists to debate the following question: “Is the Scientific Enterprise Too Risk-Averse?”

Modern science has given us the ability to edit our genes, life-saving vaccines, and a glimpse at the origins of the universe. But is the system that produced these breakthroughs holding itself back? Critics argue that the pressure to publish and fierce competition for funding rewards safe, incremental work over bold thinking and big swings. Yet others see a system still capable of paradigm-shifting discoveries — one where large, worldwide collaborations and long-term thinking motivate scientists to pursue grand, ambitious ideas.

Arguing that the scientific enterprise is too risk-averse will be economist Tyler Cowen. Cowen is the host of the “Conversations with Tyler” podcast, a contributor at The Free Press, and his blog, Marginal Revolution, was named the best economics blog on the web by The Wall Street Journal. He also founded Emergent Ventures, a multi-million dollar fund that supports entrepreneurs and brilliant minds with highly scalable, "zero to one" ideas for meaningfully improving society.

Opposing Cowen and arguing that the scientific enterprise is not too risk-averse will be chemist, science entertainer, and professor Dr. Kate Biberdorf aka. Kate the Chemist. Dr. Biberdorf is Professor for the Public Understanding of Science at the University of Notre Dame, the author of the bestseller The Big Book of Experiments, The Awesome Book of Edible Experiments for Kids and the fiction series Kate the Chemist.

The event is presented by Open to Debate and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University and is the sixth debate in their ongoing partnership, “The Hopkins Forum.” It will take place on Tuesday, May 5, at 6:00 PM ET at Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus, Shriver Hall (3400 N. As Bon Iver's first non-studio album, VOLUMES: ONE "SELECTIONS FROM MUSIC CONCERTS 2019-2023 BON IVER 6 PIECE BAND" also marks the start of a new and recurring archival series, presenting the many eras and multitudes that make up "Bon Iver." Modeled after Bob Dylan's Bootleg Series and the Neil Young Archives, VOLUMESwill span live shows, demos, unreleased recordings and other previously unheard material, with this inaugural edition serving as something greater than either a compilation or live record. 

The heady, inward and innovative side of Bon Iver that makes the studio albums cannot exist without the live band, and together, bandmates Andrew Fitzpatrick, Jenn Wasner, Justin Vernon, Matthew McCaughan, Michael Lewis and Sean Carey deliver the defining versions of these songs for the uninitiated and the die-hards, exploding tracks into their richest form through the essential live engineering of Xandy Whitesel. Fresh off an explosive return to Ultra Miami, 2x-GRAMMY nominee and global electronic powerhouse Steve Aoki joins forces with record-breaking comedian Sebastian Maniscalco for the release of their electrifying new single, “Does Your Father Know You Dance Like That?” – out today.

Blending high-energy festival production with Maniscalco’s signature mix of physical comedy observational humor, and vividly animated storytelling rooted in life’s absurdities, the track lands as a bold, fan-first moment - designed for dance floors, group chats, and viral choreography alike. Built around an instantly addictive hook and playful call-and-response structure, the record captures the spirit of a night out at its most chaotic and hilarious.

Maniscalco first premiered the comedic dance track during Justin Bieber’s Halloween livestream last Fall. Initially produced by PARISI (Ed Sheeran, Fred Again) and Sebastian’s Creative Director and GRAMMY-nominated songwriter and producer Freddy Wexler (Justin Bieber, Blackpink), the track quickly caught Bieber’s attention with him exclaiming “that’s going to pop off in Ibiza,” while Maniscalco jokingly teased that he’d be playing Coachella in April. Wexler then brought the song to Aoki, who began working on it—adding his signature sound and helping the track fully realize its dancefloor potential.

Inspired by his teenage nights dancing at Chicago teen clubs, Maniscalco declared Friday night ‘dance night.’ “You started getting ready for Friday on Monday,” he joked, “practicing moves in front of the mirror before strutting into the club with confidence. The track imagines today’s nightlife at its wildest - rocking sunglasses indoors, sparklers at your table, and 14 guys sharing a single bottle of Grey Goose - leaving only one question: ‘What’s wrong with people?’”

Arriving alongside the single, the official music video brings the track’s larger-than-life personality to the screen. The visual opens with Aoki and Maniscalco calling each other from their respective Las Vegas hotel rooms before linking up to take over the night. What follows is a high-energy, comedic ride through the city, from impromptu dance-offs in a hotel room to Maniscalco joining Aoki live onstage in front of a packed Las Vegas crowd, blurring the line between stand-up, spectacle, and a full-scale dance party.

 "Sebastian is one of the funniest people I’ve ever met and this collab was all about bringing that into the club,” said Aoki. “I knew I wanted to do it in an authentic way though, so it only made sense to work with Parisi on the track, who I’m also a huge fan of. It’s fun, unexpected, and perfect for the dancefloor."

“I’ve been dancing to other people’s music for years. Now I finally have a song of my own to move to,” said Maniscalco. “Collaborating with Steve Aoki made it even more special. He brought so much energy and creativity to the song and, apparently, to my social calendar too. He’s had me out promoting this thing in nightclubs until 3 o’clock in the morning, which is a real change for me. I think the last time I was out that late was 2009.”

Clown in a Cornfield Author Adam Cesare’s Cosmic Horror Comic Dead Mall Optioned by Not The Funeral Home

Thursday April 2 - Independent film production company Not The Funeral Home (NTFH) has optioned the film rights to Dead Mall, the four-issue Dark Horse Comics series written by Bram Stoker Award–winning horror author Adam Cesare (Clown in a Cornfield) and illustrated by David Stoll. Screenwriter Michael Varrati (The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, Fangoria Chainsaw Awards) is attached to adapt the project, drawing from Cesare’s original story notes that include previously unseen material.

“Dead Mall is like ‘Event Horizon’ and ‘Hellraiser’ in a mall – we are excited to work with Adam on this project,” says Matt Manjourides, co-founder of Not The Funeral Homealongside Justin Martell. The company created and produced The Last Drive In with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder and AMC+ (“here to shake things up" - The New York Times), as well as movies like Street Trash (“Melted Gonzo Goodness” - Variety), Black Eyed Susan (100% on Rotten Tomatoes), and Shudder exclusives The Puppetman, Eight Eyes, Castle Freak and Night of the Reaper. (“entertaining throwback” - The New York Times).

Dead Mall follows five teens who sneak into their local mall for one last look before it’s demolished only to discover the mall is far from abandoned. Inside the crumbling retail labyrinth, they encounter a sprawling, ever-changing cosmic horror that has made the mall its home, transforming the familiar consumer temple into a nightmarish maze where survival is anything but guaranteed.

Cesare is widely known for his acclaimed Clown in a Cornfield novel series, which has become one of the most recognizable modern horror franchises and was also adapted for film. His work blends high-concept horror with sharp character-driven storytelling, making Dead Mall a natural fit for cinematic adaptation.

Not The Funeral Home plans to develop the property as a feature film adaptation, bringing Cesare’s surreal retail nightmare to the screen. The film adaptation will expand the terrifying premise of the comic while retaining the claustrophobic, otherworldly horror that made the series a cult favorite among genre fans.

Recorded over two nights in April 1972 at Detroit’s Cinderella Ballroom, “Live” Full House captures The J. Geils Band playing full tilt in its second home. The set ignites from the first note, with the sextet tearing through the whiplash stops and starts of “Whammer Jammer,” “Pack Fair And Square,” and “Hard Drivin’ Man.” Released later that year, “Live” Full House became the band’s first Top 40 album.

In new liner notes, the band’s singer, Peter Wolf, calls “Live” Full House one of his favorites. “This recording encapsulates the energy and spontaneity we always tried to give our audiences,” he writes. “What you hear is the true, raw, unfiltered sound of The J. Geils Band, performing what we did every night.”

Released in October 1993, Anodyne was the fourth and final album by alt-country pioneers Uncle Tupelo. Cut live in the studio in Austin, Texas, the record moves from the driving energy of “Chickamauga” and “The Long Cut” into “Anodyne” and “Acuff-Rose,” where fiddle and pedal steel add a flash of Cosmic American color. The album ended UT’s short-but-remarkable run, with the breakup soon giving rise to two new bands: Wilco and Son Volt.

In the new liner notes, music journalist Mark Deming reflects on the album’s lasting weight. “Over those two weeks in Austin, Texas, recording Anodyne, Uncle Tupelo created both a grand finale and a new beginning, and the music and the emotions ring just as clear more than three decades on.”

Rhino High Fidelity continues to tap into Warner Music’s vast catalog, introducing reissues of seminal albums across genres—from rock and pop to jazz, soul, and beyond. General on-sale for Mutiny For The Masses begins at 10am local time on Friday, April 10th, with presales starting at 10am local time on Wednesday, April 8th. The artist wants to give fans, not scalpers, the best chance to buy tickets at face value. To help achieve this, the tour will be using Ticketmaster Face Value Exchange and AXS Resale where, if needed, you can resell your ticket to other fans at the original price paid. To help protect this, Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds have also chosen to make tickets for this tour Mobile ID only and restricted from transfer (except in states where not applicable by law).

Mutiny After Midnight is out now on vinyl, CD and cassette via High Top Mountain/Atlantic Outpost. As of today, it is also available as a digital download – exclusively on iTunes in a "full album for purchase only" format – with an expanded tracklist featuring Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds' take on Eddie Murphy's "Party All The Time."

Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds' renditions of Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and William Bell's "You Don't Miss Your Water" will be released as a 7" picture disc on April 18th, exclusively for Record Store Day 2026.
