On Something Better, Loose Buttons team with The Strokes’ longtime producer Gus Oberg to create a debut that doubles as a snapshot of the group growing into their own on their own terms. The record sees Loose Buttons fuse their “potent indie rock mix” (Nylon) with a narrative centered around fending off the lingering pains of the past and looming anxieties of looking forward to build something that's truly worth living for.
