“The Jazz Loft According To W. Eugene Smith” Plays at DOC NYC Festival- IFC Center (NYC)
Directed by Sara Fishko and produced by WNYC, this film explores NYC's Jazz scene between 1957-65 as documented by a former LIFE magazine photographer from his 6th Ave loft. Footage includes rehearsals with Thelonious Monk and music lessons taught by the Juilliard-trained Hall Overton.
