A "Slow Burn" For The Broken Hearts On Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day (2.14), emerging artist Matt Koziol, who has collaborated with John Paul White, Joy Oladokun and more, identifies with the brokenhearted in a simmering new performance video for his song "Slow Burn." Watch here: youtu.be/m8gyx2RaWzs.

"Slow Burn," written by Koziol with Wes Harllee, will be featured on Koziol's soon-to-be-announced debut album which is produced by Jars of Clay member Matthew Odmark. In his stripped performance of the track, Koziol showcases his raspy baritone voice that's aged like a good bourbon. It relates to the long-term pain of a heartbreak and validates the anger that comes from along with it.
