ADA And A2im Partner To Create A New Program For Label Partners

NEW YORK, NY – June 16, 2016: ADA, the independent distribution and services arm of Warner Music Group (WMG), and A2IM (The American Association of Independent Music) have announced the creation of a new program that will simplify membership to the trade organization for label partners. By managing financial dues, ADA is taking administrative burden away from its label partners so they can focus on creating great music. This partnership serves both ADA and A2IM’s mission of building a stronger and more connected community within the independent music space.

Eliah Seton, President of ADA Worldwide, commented: “We’re always looking for the most efficient ways to assist our label partners and this program with A2IM allows us to remove one more thing from their plates and let them concentrate on what they do best, developing and nurturing amazing talent.  We are also very proud to help support and strengthen such an important advocate for the indie community in A2IM.”

Richard James Burgess, CEO of A2IM, said: "This partnership is a complete no-brainer for us. We love that we’re able to now offer this benefit to our members in the hopes that it makes business easier for all."

About A2IM

Celebrating its 11th anniversary, A2IM is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit trade organization headquartered in New York City representing a broad coalition of 391 Independently-owned American music labels.
