Wednesday, May 28 - Agnostic Front lead guitarist Vinnie Stigma released a new Spaghetti Western-inspired single and music video, “Already Dead” (Rancid Cover) and announced upcoming shows featuring a band consisting of Eugene Hütz and Sergey Ryabtsev of the international punk band Gogol Bordello. Channeling the lonesome swagger of desert blues and blending Hütz’s punk ethos with gritty country, the song is off Stigma’s upcoming Americana album, The Outlaw Vinnie Stigma, out June 11 via Casa Gogol Records, in conjunction with Generation Records.
The release will be celebrated with four special June shows in Brooklyn, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. - featuring special guests from Michael Imperioli’s band ZOPA and Walter Schreifels (Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits) to Gogol Bordello’s Eugene Hütz, Sergey Ryabtsev and more - full details below.

The album was conceived by Vinnie Stigma (Agnostic Front, Madball, Stigma) and Chip Hanna (U.S. Bombs, The Berlin Three, T.S.O.L.) on Eugene Hütz’s Casa Gogol Records. The two longtime friends first met on tour in the late ’90s, bonding over late-night drinks and country sing-alongs. Decades later, that brotherhood finds its voice, channeling outlaw country, roadhouse blues, and roots rock, though still very much Vinnie Stigma.
Casa Gogol recently released NYContinuity Vol.1: New New York Does Old New York- a dialogue between NYC’s new wave of bands and their heroes, with Puzzled Panther’s cover of Sonic Youth’s “Dirty Boots” (produced by Sonic Youth’s Steve Shelley and drums by Brian Chase) and original “Fractured,” Mary Shelley’s Bushwick rooftop version of Talking Heads’ “The Great Curve” (produced by David Byrne's American Utopia music director Mauro Refosco), Pons’ manic Suicide cover of “Fast Money Music,” Grace Bergere’s hypnotic take on The Velvet Underground’s “All Tomorrow’s Parties” feat. Thurston Moore and more.
