Alan Jackson’s Silverbelly Whiskey Awarded 2x Double Platinum And Gold Medals At American Spirits Council Of Tasters Awards

Silverbelly Whiskey, the premium spirit distilled exclusively for and hand-selected by Country Music Hall of Fame member Alan Jackson, has been awarded GOLD in the “Straight Bourbon” category at the American Spirits Council of Tasters (ASCOT) Awards, which highlights the best spirits releases of each year. Silverbelly was also awarded 2x DOUBLE PLATINUM in the “Website” and “Brand Video” categories in collaboration with marketing agency Hustle Media, respectively.

“We are ecstatic to receive multiple Platinum and Gold ASCOT awards in our first year of eligibility,” says Robbie Goldsmith, CEO of Silverbelly Whiskey. “We would like to thank the American Spirits Council of Tasters for the recognition and we cannot wait to continue to grow as a new brand and provide quality products for all to enjoy.”

Now in its third year, the ASCOT Awards is an international spirits competition created by spirits personality and veteran tasting judge, Fred Minnick. The competition provides a unique opportunity for distillers to have their products recognized through Fred’s YouTube channel, social media, news articles, newsletters and festival. Judges for the awards include esteemed members of the spirits world and range from bar owners, bartenders, mixologists, spirits industry execs, spirits educators and more. Each entry is evaluated on a 100-point scale based on criteria including appearance, aroma, taste, and finish.

Silverbelly Whiskey is distilled in partnership with Silver Screen Bottling Co and DSP-KY-10. The “classic” (UPROXX) whiskey draws its name from the color of the country icon’s signature Stetson cowboy hat. To celebrate Jackson’s historic career, each batch of the spirit is chronologically named after his 35 career chart-topping hit songs, making each bottle a collector’s item for country music fans and a perfect addition to whiskey fans’ shelves at an affordable price (MSRP $39.99).

Silverbelly recently announced its third label release, named after Jackson’s fan-favorite song “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow,” which follows the first two successful batch releases “Here In The Real World” and “Wanted.” The new bottles are available for pre-order here.

Silverbelly is available in 19 states and will be in-stores nationwide soon, but fans everywhere can purchase it online at silverbellywhiskey.com
