(New York, NY): R&B enigma Allan Rayman has released Vol. 2 of his short film "Verona's Obsession" blending different parts of his recently released concept album 'Roadhouse 01.' This second chapter of "Verona's Obsession" is set to "Wolf," where Allan tells the story of a shy young man consumed by his passion for art, determined to take the risks and make the sacrifice of going it alone.

Vol 2. continues the 1980s vampire flick-inspired thriller where Allan confronts the dark side of celebrity culture. Nylon says, "his enigmatic personality also expands to his music and its visuals." "The Gabriel Adelman-directed visuals pair beautifully with the rising Toronto R&B artists’ in-your-face delivery," said Hypebeast of the eerie first chapter.

Allan seamlessly "fuses R&B swagger with hip-hop grit all while spinning compelling stories much like a country artist can" (Billboard) on 'Roadhouse 01,' his recently released via Ben Lovett's Communion Records. An iconoclast who rejects the cliches of celebrity culture, Allan lets his smoky vocals and hip-hop production do the talking.

"a walking juxtaposition -- his raspy voice and eerily enticing lyrics demand a listener’s attention"  - Billboard

"exciting...intoxicating" - Noisey

"a sense of cinema to songwriting that stings, sharp as wolf fangs" - Pigeons & Planes

"solemn and soulful...his distinct gravelly voice speaks for itself." - Interview

Following on the heels of a sold-out European run of dates in London, Paris and Amsterdam, Allan is currently on a national tour in support of 'Roadhouse 01.' After sold-out shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and more, he will be making his debut at Chicago's Lollapalooza Festival this August.

About Allan Rayman:

Allan Rayman had to get away. While some artists are blessed with the ability to balance their passions and responsibilities, Rayman found himself singularly consumed by his music, and retreat was the only option. It was a selfish move, and perhaps deep down he knew that, but ultimately, in his eyes, escape was an act of survival. To those he left behind, it felt more like betrayal, but by now their voices have long since faded away, unable to reach him in the isolated cabin he calls home. There, deep in the woods outside the barely-on-the-map hamlet of Lost Springs, Rayman set up residence and began to write and record a stunning sonic chronicle of his slow descent.

About Communion Records:

Communion Music is an artist - led organization which combines elements of live promotion, publishing and recording to create a hub for artists to develop and flourish in an increasingly competitive music industry environment. Communion encourages musical communities to grow and flourish between artists and their respective audiences.

The organization was founded in London in 2006 by musicians Ben Lovett (Mumford & Sons), Kevin Jones (Bear's Den), and producer Ian Grimble (Manic Street Preachers, Travis, Beautiful South) in the basement bar of Notting Hill Arts Club. It quickly grew in a flourishing community of musicians and fans, providing an independent platform for the best young artists. In recent years, Communion Records has released records by Ben Howard, Gotye, Michael Kiwanuka, Tennis, Nick Mulvey, Willy Mason, Rubblebucket, Matthew and the Atlas, Bad Suns, Deap Vally, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Bear's Den, Daughter and more.
