The 133 men of the Ambassadors of Harmony (St. Charles, Missouri) captured their fourth gold medal in Friday's International Chorus Contest presented by the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Singing "Something Good" from "The Sound Of Music" and The Carpenters hit "Top of the World," the chorus emerged at the top of a field of 29 from the United States, Canada, Sweden, New Zealand, and Australia. Choruses performed songs ranging from traditional close harmony to parodies of "Uptown Funk," a mad scientist medley, a traditional New Zealand Maori war dance, and The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."

The top 5 choruses were, in order: 

1. Ambassadors of Harmony / St. Charles, Missouri

2. Central Standard / Kansas City, Missouri

3. Masters of Harmony / Santa Fe Springs, California

4. Toronto Northern Lights / Toronoto, Ontario

5. Sound of the Rockies / Denver, Colorado

More than 1800 singers crossed the stage in the chorus contest as part of a week-long convetion of shows and contests. The event continues through Saturday with "A Better World Singing Day," offering free singing events for families all day long, including a concert a 5:30pm featuring Grammy Award winners The Fairfield Four, and the world quartet championship finals at 7:30 pm.
