Andrew Bird Announces Fourteenth Annual Gezelligheid Concerts, Returning to Chicago's Fourth Presbyterian Church for Seven Nights

December 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13

Tickets Available This Friday, September 6th

Today, Andrew Bird announces his fourteenth annual series of Gezelligheid concerts, taking place December 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 at Chicago's Fourth Presbyterian Church. Since 2009, the intimate performances have become a tried-and-true tradition of the holiday season, defying wintertime doldrums through a communal experience of warm, comforting music. Following a sold-out run of shows in 2023, this year will once again feature seven nights of instrumental violin pieces, holiday classics, and fan favorites, filling the space by way of Bird's signature, spinning Victrola horns.

Referencing a Dutch term that loosely translates to "cozy," Gezelligheid is presented by Jam, Metro and 93XRT. Tickets for all seven concerts will be available at 10am CT this Friday, September 6th, and can be found at andrewbird.net/#tour.

Andrew Bird returns home to Chicago on the heels of two special nights at the Green Mill this spring, where he celebrated the release of his latest album, Sunday Morning Put-On. Since then, he has also played Newport Folk Festival, The Hollywood Bowl and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, with much more to share soon.
