Since the early 2000s, Italy's C2C Festival has showcased some of the most adventurous artists in contemporary music, growing from being one of Europe's preeminent dance destinations into an international celebration of excellence and experimentation. As the "ne-plus-ultra festival of avant-garde eclecticism" (Pitchfork), attendees around the world always anticipate each continuously sold-out edition, and today, C2C Festival, Knockdown Center and MATTE join forces to announce a special event in New York that they have never done before.
On May 9th, 2025, for the first time in its 23-year history, C2C Festival will present its inaugural US event. Taking over all of Knockdown Center in Queens, and co-presented by MATTE, C2C Festival NYC's lineup curation and choice of venue further expand a commitment to cross-genre aesthetic and transglobal scenes, producing immersive performances in the most extraordinary of locations.
Across multiple stages, highlighting the best of electronic music, jazz, pop, rap and beyond, Oneohtrix Point Never, Nala Sinephro, Two Shell, evilgiane and John Glacier all make their C2C return, with unprecedented productions planned for this new evolution of the festival. Oneohtrix Point Never will present Again2 with live puppetry and video by Freeka Tet, with more lineup details and additions to be revealed soon.
Tickets to C2C Festival NYC are available HERE, starting at 12pm EST on Wednesday, December 4th
"Bringing C2C Festival to the US marks a pivotal milestone in the festival's long journey," says Sergio Ricciardone, Founder and Director C2C Festival. "Over the years, C2C has grown into a global platform for contemporary and avant-garde music. Choosing the Knockdown Center as the venue for our first U.S. edition aligns with C2C's vision. Bold and forward-thinking, C2C Festival is excited to share its distinctive artistic vision —dedicated to the spirit of the avant-garde and new pop— with new communities. This event will create opportunities for cultural exchange while continuing to recontextualize music and art on a global scale."

About Knockdown Center Featuring programming of diverse formats and media, Knockdown Center aims to create a radically cross-disciplinary environment. The particularity of our architectural environment and history leads us to gravitate toward projects that demonstrate a sensitive reactivity to site and environment. This 50,000 square-foot building has seen continuous use for more than 100 years: first as the Gleason-Tiebout glass factory, then as Manhattan Door factory. It is named for the Knock-Down door frame that was invented here in 1956 by Samuel Sklar and remains an industry standard to this day. The frame could be shipped in pieces — or "knocked down" — and installed into existing walls, revolutionizing the speed and efficiency of building construction. The factory has since remained in the Sklar family and is again a site for innovation. Having undergone a renovation that is equal parts preservationist and state of the art, Knockdown Center now produces and hosts cultural events and exhibitions that respond to its unique architecture and dimensions.
