While he is honing his own musical and academic talents, as a biracial boy and Harry Belafonte’s youngest grandson, Amadeus is committed to social justice; as a competitive gamer, he turned his passion into a way to connect with peers who are struggling with bullying and other related issues by creating a video game centered safe space for kids and tweens to talk about their mental health. He also volunteers as a counselor at a camp for underserved youth in the South Bronx, two programs that are pillars of the Belafonte Family Foundation. For years he has also been a part of DREAM, pairing dancers up with kids with special needs and disabilities to realize their excellence through art, movement, and showcases.
