Celebrating 20 years and stepping into its new era, Big Machine Records/Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment (NHRE) artists celebrate seven nominations between label artists Riley Green, Rascal Flatts, Mackenzie Carpenter and Caroline Jones.
“As we enter ‘The Next 20,’ I’m so proud of our Big Machine & Nashville Harbor artists as they continue to lead and shape the culture of the Country music landscape,” says Founder and Chairman Scott Borchetta. “Whether it’s the iconic Rascal Flatts, rising superstar Riley Green, or our up-and-coming female stars Caroline Jones and Mackenzie Carpenter, the Machine is running hot!”
Already a previous ACM Award winner, multi-PLATINUM-selling artist Riley Green earns four nominations, including Male Artist of the Year, Artist-Songwriter of the Year, Album of the Year for Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe), and Music Event of the Year for his No. 1 hit with Ella Langley, “Don’t Mind If I Do.” Established country music hitmakers Rascal Flatts, who released their collaboration album Life Is A Highway: Refueled Duetslast summer and have toured across the country on the LIFE IS A HIGHWAY TOUR, earn a nomination for Group of the Year.
As women dominate the overall nominations board, Big Machine Records/NHRE’s Mackenzie Carpenter, who recently released her new song “All In Already,” receives a New Female Artist of the Year nomination, while country singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Caroline Jones also receives a nomination for New Female Artist of the Year.
The celebratory moment marks the first award nominations since Founder and Chairman Scott Borchetta’s reacquisition of Big Machine Records in February and the launch of Borchetta Entertainment Group (B.E.G.).
