The track’s launch comes alongside an exclusive live event at the GRAMMY Museum in LA, and follows the release of sister track “Queen of the Underground”, which Billboard praised for “filtering the abolitionist’s voice through the lens of pounding hip-hop as she lambasts the state of affairs in America today.” Watch the lyric video HERE.
In case you missed him cutting up with Sherri Shepherd on her titular talk show, getting deep about the legacy of Tubman with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, chatting with Ayesha Rascoe on NPR’s Weekend Edition, being given a shout-out on Whoopi's Instagram,or features with Vanity Fair, Vulture, Mashable and Newsweek, Bob has been everywhere sharing the ground-breaking novel.
Bob’s unabashed confidence and humor made him your girlfriend’s favorite drag queen after winning season 8 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” but he truly became a Los Angeles multihyphenate after landing acting roles for HBO, Netflix, Sony Tristar, MTV, and VH1. And he most recently made major waves starring on the latest season of the Peacock mega hit “The Traitors.”
Even though he didn’t win in the castle, that hasn’t stopped him from collecting many awards to sit next to his crown. While co-hosting HBO’s first unscripted show, “We’re Here,” Bob helped the show and its creatives earn a Peabody Award, Emmy Awards, a GLAAD Media Award, and a Television Academy Honors recognition. You may also know him from his weekly arguments with co-host, Monét X Change, on their highly rated podcast “Sibling Rivalry”. Over the past five years, they’ve won a Queerty Award, a Webby Award, as well as a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Podcast.
Over the past few years, Bob The Drag Queen has been quite busy, he has become a NYT bestselling author, gained a drag daughter in a Scottish castle on The Traitor’s, embarked on two world tours including his own sold-out stand up comedy tour titled “This is Wild.” He also spent about a year preparing for and hosting Madonna’s “Celebration” World Tour. By popular demand he has also released his debut EP ‘Gay Barz’, sold out his limited drop of self-designed garments for House of Bob, dropped his latest comedy special “Woke Man In a Dress” on YouTube and streaming services. Bob is represented by UTA and managed by Producer Entertainment Group (PEG) and lives in Los Angeles.
