Bob The Drag Queen To Drop New Comedy Special, Woke Man In A Dress, on June 22

Bob The Drag Queen will release his new stand-up special Woke Man In A Dress on June 22, the drag superstar’s birthday. It will be available to stream on Patreon via wokemaninadress.com, when the site goes live on 6.22.

“I love that comedians are now making our own specials. The most important factor in a comedy special is. . . IS IT FUNNY?!?!?! and the answer is. . . I'm hilarious" said Bob about the stand-up special which focuses on his experience as a black queer person growing up in the south and his new-found celebrity. The alter ego of non-binary comic/actor Caldwell Tidicue, Bob The Drag Queen is a modern comedy and pop culture icon. After being catapulted to worldwide success by winning the eighth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Bob has become a Peabody Award/GLAAD Media Award/ Television Academy Honors-winning artist for his work on HBO’s We’re Here, a musician who recently dropped his debut EP ‘Gay Barz’, an acclaimed podcaster for his show Sibling Rivalry with his drag sister Monét X Change, and will serve as a special guest spot on Madonna’s upcoming “The Celebration Tour”. He was also just spotlighted by NBC as one of their “Pride 30” spotlighting “drag performers who made herstory”, and made a recent guest speaking appearance on a virtual panel with MoMA.
