NY Times: Jon Pareles traveled to LA for this searching Arts & Leisure feature: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/01/arts/music/bonnie-raitt-has-new-album-slipstream-and-a-tour.html?ref=jonpareles
Entertainment Weekly: Ken Tucker writes (A-) "The singer's best album since 1975... Her slide-guitar playing throughout Slipstream is superb, and she slips her purring voice into every song like a letter going into an envelope addressed just to you."
NPR: Ann Powers says "Raitt's gift for expressing emotions on a real, human scale is what makes her so beloved. On 'Slipstream,' she takes on some of the hardest, and she doesn't fail us now."
Rolling Stone: Will Hermes says, in a 4 star review: "A loose and adventurous reminder of everything she does well... it's mood music with a razor edge, pain fronting as bliss, delivered by a vet who understands that the blues are often about just that.
