Brandon Davis Reimagines His Debut On The ‘Hearts Don’t Rust (Acoustic)’ EP, Out Now

Over the past month, country artist Brandon Davis has performed rowdy full-band shows for massive audiences as an opener for Tim McGraw. Now, he's going back to his roots, stripping back the music his 1.7 million TikTok fans have fallen in love with on his new 'Hearts Don't Rust (Acoustic)' EP, available today (5.27).

“I spent the first two years of my music career traveling this country with just my guitar and beautiful family by my side," says Davis. "So to me, an acoustic EP just made sense. I thought it was time to strip things back to their roots and let the lyrics shine in a way they can only do acoustically. When it all came together I was blown away. I really feel like this project shows a vulnerable side of the songs and the stories they hold.”

‘Hearts Don’t Rust (Acoustic)’ features re-imagined versions of songs from his debut album including the title track, "Speaking My Language," "Hits Different," "Something's Better Than Nothing" and a new song called "Forever and Always," Davis' wedding song which was released last Thursday (5.19). The 5-track EP was produced by Daniel Agee who has worked with artists like Jessie James Decker, Logan Mize and others.
