Brasstracks & Masego Perform On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’s #Playathome Series
Debut Album Golden Ticket Out NowWATCH HERE
“Equipped for both jazz lovers and hip-hop fanatics….sound that’s driven by soulful brass but grounded to a funk beat”
— V Magazine
Today, GRAMMY® Award-winning duo Brasstracks (multi-instrumentalist Ivan Jackson and percussionist Conor Rayne) celebrate their debut album, Golden Ticket (out now via EQT Recordings + Capitol Records) with a performance of the title track, and a smooth transition into album kick-off, the instrumental “Basket Case,” for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #playathome series.
Joined by Masego (who has his own miniature sax) and a crew of dancing musicians, this remote performance of the album’s title track is a stunning demonstration of living-room soul, complete with Jackson’s horns guiding the group like a classic frontman.
The performance is dedicated to the late Quinn Coleman, who signed Brasstracks to Capitol Records in 2019.

Brasstracks have worked with Harry Styles, Chance The Rapper, Mark Ronson and more - now it’s their time in the spotlight. And in a musical landscape ruled by great pop acts & club heaters, Brasstracks come seemingly as the last pair of band geeks that to sign up for the big leagues — with a major label contract and the space to make the album they’ve always wanted, Jackson and Rayne have found their Golden Ticket.
ABOUT BRASSTRACKS:
Since forming in 2014, Brasstracks have become one of music’s most in-demand horn/percussion duos and the force behind songs by Chance the Rapper (earning a GRAMMY® Award for their work on “No Problem”), Anderson .Paak, Khalid, Wyclef Jean and more. They’re also Mark Ronson’s go-to musicians; Jackson and Rayne accompanied Ronson during his “SNL” performance with Miley Cyrus, and Jackson performed on the show alongside Harry Styles last year. Brasstracks have received critical praise from Complex, The FADER, XXL, VICE, The Guardian and more.
