Here’s Jackson and Rayne on the track:

“Listening to ‘Golden Ticket’ more and more, and searching for an album title, we realized this is it. This felt like the message and sound we wanted to lean into. As a trumpet player and a drummer on a major label, it feels like we too found a “Golden Ticket”. But what does that actually mean? We explored that idea throughout our album without even realizing this should be the title until this song was done.”

Brasstracks’ debut album is out this Friday (August 21st). The record reinforces the duo’s free-thinking approach to songcraft and embraces an unprecedented charm. An eclectic mix of collaborators feature on almost every track – including modern rap and R&B titans such as Common, Masego, GRAMMY® Award nominated Tank of Tank & The Bangas, Robert Glasper and more.

To celebrate the release, Brasstracks will host a Zoom album listening party for fans (Friday, August 21st at 6pm ET). To get the zoom link, fans can text Brasstracks’ Community Number at 917-540-6042.
