Sam Smith tourmate, Bruno Major kicks off impressive 2018

Kicks Off UK Arena Tour with Sam Smith/ Drops Haunting Video Collab w/ Dutch filmmaker Jan Van Ijken for "Places We Won't Walk"

"blissful" - Billboard

"timeless pop songwriting" - Pigeons and Planes

"poignant...heart-rending" - Boston Globe

"sobering, dusky musings...tremendous vocals" - Clash

(New York, NY) - London singer-songwriter Bruno Major recently wrapped the first leg of his debut North American tour. The sold-out run of dates ended with a pair of packed shows at NYC's Bowery Ballroom and Rough Trade. He'll return to the U.S. later this year for an 18-date run that will kick off in San Jose on May 25, and see stops in Pittsburgh, Austin, Washington D.C., Houston, Las Vegas and at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.

It's been an incredible start to 2018 for the rising artist, whose latest project, achingly vulnerable, 12-song R&B-inspired collection, 'A Song For Every Moon' was released in August.

Bruno was hand-selected by Sam Smith to support the pop star on his UK "The Thrill of It All" arena tour this Spring, which kicked off this week in Sheffield and will conclude with two sold-out nights at London's O2 Arena in April.

In other firsts for the artist-to-watch, Bruno made his late-night TV debut with a mesmerizing performance of his ballad "Easily" on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Corden called his fellow Englishman an "unbelievably talented singer-songwriter" with a "beautifully soulful voice."

Smith and Corden aren't Bruno's only notable fans. Zane Lowe also recently included Bruno on his Breaking Artists list, alongside CUCO, George FitzGerald, Bishop Nehru and others rising stars.

Additionally, Bruno unveiled stunning new visuals for his track, "Places We Won't Walk." The video, a collaboration with acclaimed Dutch filmmaker, Jan Van Ijken, features the murmurations of starlings for a seamless visual accompaniment to Bruno's spine-tingling vocals and sparse piano.

To top it all off, Bruno was featured on the most recent cover of Music Week, for a special "I Am My Own Label" issue in collaboration with AWAL spotlighting music's most innovative independent artists.
