Carole King unveiled the video for "New Year's Day"--the closing track from her first-ever holiday album, 'A Holiday Carole' (Hear Music/Concord Music Group)--today on AARP.com. The deeply moving song was co-written by King's daughter, Louise Goffin, and renowned songsmith Guy Chambers. Watch King's solo piano performance here: http://aarp.us/uraWpe

King has confirmed several holiday appearances this year, including performances at the Christmas at Rockefeller Center tree lighting Nov 30, on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Dec 19 and The Today Show on Dec 20. Additional holiday bookings are also confirmed for The Talk and Tavis Smiley.
