CARR, the Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and rising star with a penchant for fusing power-pop guitars and cheeky, unfiltered lyrics, released her debut full-length album, "The CARR Show” today on musicisfun/DCD2 Records. Listen to her hit single, “Spiral City”, HERE; which is currently burning up the playlists and radio charts, and her latest track, “Industry Kids”, HERE; a diss track that “spills the tea” about her initial impression of Los Angeles and discovering the true "vibe" of the city.

CARR is signed to a collaboration between DCD2 Records, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and Panic! At The Disco’s Spencer Smith’s record label, and musicisfun, the fast-rising flagship record label of independent music company, Seeker Music (Run The Jewels, Dead Pony).

“I'm so stoked for the world to hear these CARR songs,” says Pete Wentz. “These are big, small songs that are relatable to me because they are the things I think, but never say.”

“The CARR Show” is a fearless exploration of themes that are provocatively honest, making it a perfect project for musicisfun’s first LP release and reflecting Seeker Music’s vision to run a label guided by the creative passions of its signees — an artist-lead record label.

“CARR is absolutely incredible. She’s transcendent and embodies the kind of artist that we live to champion. Her authentic and unapologetic approach towards her storytelling perfectly captures her true self, simultaneously holding up a mirror to us all. Add to that, insatiably catchy ear-worm melodies and I honestly can’t stop listening to her. I’m her biggest fan!”, says Seeker Music CEO, and hit songwriter, Evan Bogart (“Halo”).

With an appetite for fearless expression, CARR has also received acclaim from critics and industry insiders including Alternative Press, Billboard, Ones To Watch, Early Rising, garnered support from Amazing Radio, KCRW, BBC Radio 1's Indie Show with Jack Saunders, Sirius XMU, and has been featured on major Spotify playlists such as Young & Free, The New Alt, New Noise, Top of the Rock, and Fresh Finds Rock.

“This time in my life is fun and hard and horny and messy.” CARR says. “I’m still figuring it all out in real time, so this album is a complete honest look into the journey I’m on.”

Catch CARR on tour this December with Highly Suspects and this coming March 2024, with Fall Out Boy.
