Catapult Founder Joins Al Gore + Top UN officials At Social Good Summit

The fourth annual Social Good Summit will take place during UN Week, 9/22-24 in NYC and will highlight how digital tools of today can be used to solve future global issues. Speakers at the Mashable and UN-presented conference include former Vice President Al Gore, UN foundation CEO Kathy Calvin and Maz Kessler, the founder of Catapult.org, a new crowdfunding platform for women's and girls' issues.

Catapult.org will celebrate its first anniversary on October 11. In under a year the site has already raised millions of dollars for hundreds of organizations in countries all over the world. Issues range from ending human trafficking to providing education and curators including Beyonce, Salma Hayek-Pinaut and Melinda Gates select projects on the site to encourage users to fund.
