Charlie Cunningham Unveils New Single “Bite” Produced By Rodiadh McDonald (The XX, King Krule) From Forthcoming Album ‘Permanent Way’ (6/7, BMG)

Today, London’s Charlie Cunningham releases his new song "Bite” produced by Rodaidh McDonald (The XX, King Krule, Hot Chip) in Los Angeles. “Bite” - which comes from Charlie’s forthcoming album ‘Permanent Way’ (6/7, BMG) - snaps open only to clasp shut with a spiky, nervous energy masked by Charlie’s melodic vocal. Listen to "Bite" here:

TIME called Charlie’s new music "lush" and "warm...filled with sensitivity and longing," saying Charlie's Flamenco-inspired guitar playing adds a "twist" to his sound. Previous single “Don’t Go Far” opened on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, and album cut “Sink In” has earned attention at UK radio, with plays from Annie Mac and Phil Taggart at Radio 1.

Charlie recently wrapped a US tour supporting Ry X, which included performances at the Theater at the Ace Hotel in LA, Brooklyn’s Murmrr Theater, and more. This summer, he’ll play a sold-out headlining show at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall before kicking off his US headlining tour with stops in Brooklyn, Los Angeles and more. Full tour routing below.
