Charlie Cunningham Embarks On North American Headlining Tour W/ Intimate Shows In NYC, LA + More

London’s Charlie Cunningham has charmed audiences across the pond with his goosebump-inducing songcraft and masterful guitar work. This fall, Charlie will bring his “spellbinding” (The Wild Honey Pie) performance stylings stateside for a North American headlining tour that includes stops in New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia and more. The tour kicks off with a show at the Echo in Los Angeles this Thursday, September 12th - full tour routing below.

Charlie will perform songs from his new album 'Permanent Way' - out now on BMG - which TIME said is "filled with sensitivity and longing, warm with his flicks at flamenco and tender in its lyrics," and which Brooklyn Vegan praised for its "shades of Robin Pecknold and Damien Jurado." Charlie’s shows are an intimate affair - he commands every room he enters, hypnotizing his audiences who listen in rapt, reverent silence. His new album ‘Permanent Way’ was produced in part by Rodaidh McDonald (King Krule, Hot Chip, The xx) and includes contributions from Hugo, Felix and Will White from The Maccabees.

Charlie has been hailed by MOJO as "heartfelt and wise beyond [his] years," with NME declaring, "there's a fire stoked beneath the lilting melodies." His fall headlining tour marks his return to the States after a North American tour with Ry X earlier this year, which included stops at Brooklyn's Murmrr Theater and the Theater at the Ace Hotel in LA.
