Clay Walker and Tracy Lawrence celebrate back-to-back sold out shows to kick off their 2022 co-headlining tour. The tour kicked off with a sold out show on Thurs., Mar. 3 at Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, NC, followed by two more sold out shows that weekend at Berglund Performing Arts Theater in Roanoke, VA and The Bell Auditorium in Augusta, GA. The shows brought the two country mainstays together on one stage with support from up-and-coming opening act Alexandra Kay.

Lawrence and Walker continued into their second weekend with another set of back-to-back sold out shows at Municipal Auditorium in Charleston, WV (3.10), Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, TN (3.11) and Mark C. Smith Concert Hall in Huntsville, AL (3.12). They were joined by Randall King, who will open the next two weekends. Later this Spring, they welcome special guest Tracy Byrd.

“The concerts have been well attended by the most loyal country music fans," says Walker. "I could not have hoped for more!”

“What a way to kick off the tour with my long time friend by playing to a sold out crowd, and then continuing the tour with a second sold out weekend," adds Lawrence. "The energy the crowds brought made it obvious that real country music is wanted and that is what we always do!”

ABOUT CLAY WALKER:

Discovered in a Beaumont area bar by noted producer and head of Giant Records James Stroud (Toby Keith, Tracy Lawrence, Tim McGraw, Kenny Rogers), Clay Walker was in his early twenties when he started rattling off a string of smash hits: “Live Until I Die,” "Dreaming With My Eyes Open," “This Woman And This Man,” "Hypnotize The Moon," "Rumor Has It," “Then What,” "I Can't Sleep" and "She Won't Be Lonely Long."

Four platinum albums, more than 30 charted singles and 11 No. 1’s later, Texas-native Clay Walker has built a storied career blending country’s timeless themes with music-of-the-moment timeliness. Nowhere is this more apparent than on Walker’s debut Show Dog Nashville album ‘Texas To Tennessee.' Certainly, the realities of place are as central as this comeback album's name implies: Nashville - busily working toward the next fresh hit; Texas - moving at its inimitable and familiar pace.

Produced by Michael Knox (Jason Aldean) and chart-topping songwriter Jaron Boyer, ‘Texas To Tennessee' delivers smooth bore country that would feel right at home on any of Walker's four platinum CDs. It’s a modern album that nods at an earlier era in its time economy.
