Clay Walker has undoubtedly made his mark on country music and solidified his place as a 90s staple with a storied career encompassing four platinum albums, more than 39 charted singles and 11 No. 1’s. Now, he proves that his prolific songwriting and twang-drenched musicianship is as strong as ever with his Show Dog Nashville debut ‘Texas To Tennessee,’ available everywhere today (7.30).

'Texas To Tennessee,' which was recorded between Walker’s current cities of Galveston, TX and Nashville, TN, and produced by Michael Knox (Jason Aldean) and chart-topping songwriter Jaron Boyer, offers a duality not only in the sense of place its name implies, but also in its blend of old-school country’s timeless themes and music-of-the-moment timeliness. Walker has created an album that will resonate with the countless fans he’s acquired through his storied career, as well as a new generation of fans that have emerged from his nearly 1million TikTok followers.

"It's very gratifying to be at a point in my life where I can offer something in its fullness,” says Walker. "I've never quite had that before. I was pegged as a neo-traditionalist early on, but I don't think I fit that mold. For a lot of reasons – maybe the pendulum of music is in the perfect spot – but today's music and my style have hit center on this album."

'Texas To Tennessee' opens with "Anything To Do With You," a smooth country song that would feel right at home on any of Walker's four platinum CDs, followed by “Need A Bar Sometimes” which has surpassed 20 million video streams and dominated CMT’s 12Pack. “Cowboy Loves A Woman” oozes with Walker’s Texas troubadour charm, while the title track narrates his life journey between two states. Amongst slow-burning country ballads, Walker closes the album with the anthemic southern rocker “One More.”
