Comedy Dynamics To Release Documentary About Comic, Richard Lett, Titled Never Be Done, The Richard Glen Lett Story

LOS ANGELES, CA – Comedy Dynamics has announced they are releasing a documentary about the Canadian comic, Richard Lett, titled Never Be Done: The Richard Glen Lett Story. The documentary will be available June 16, 2020 through the Comedy Dynamics network, their hybrid distribution system composed of Comcast, Amazon Prime Video, Spectrum, Apple TV, Dish, Google Play, DirecTV, Vimeo, YouTube and more on June 30, 2020.

In Never Be Done, The Richard Glen Lett Story, filmmaker Roy Tighe follows the infamous Canadian comedian who’s been banned from club after club across the country before falling into a spiral of alcohol, drugs and homelessness that almost took his career, dignity and life.

Hitting every microphone in the country doing stand-up (and four CDs in the vault), acting with Jessica Alba and regularly seen on the hit TV series "Supernatural" Richard Lett is in his third decade as a headline stand-up comedian , working with such luminaries as Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Robin Williams, Tommy Chong, Janeane Garofalo and Zach Galifianakis. Offstage he is known for his writing, directing and producing almost thirty of his own plays, being a single dad, battling cancer, alcoholism and drug addiction. He toured nationally his hit solo show "Sober But Never Clean" performing it sixty times in comedy clubs, theatre festivals, treatment centers and recovery conventions to rave reviews and standing ovations.

“There’s the truth an individual believes and then there’s the truth the camera sees.” said director, Roy Tighe.

“One of my favorite parts of being in the entertainment industry is seeing how stories can impact and inspire people to believe in themselves and do a greater good for themselves or their community. I truly believe this is one of those stories,” said Brian Volk-Weiss, CEO of Comedy Dynamics.
