Comedy Dynamics To Release Nick Vatterott’s New Comedy Special, Disingenuous

LOS ANGELES, CA – Comedy Dynamics is pleased to announce they’ve acquired Nick Vatterott’s new stand-up special, Disingenuous, and are distributing it through their hybrid distribution system composed of Comcast, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Spectrum, Peacock, Dish, Google Play, Vimeo, YouTube and more on December 21st, 2021. The album will be available on Sirius XM, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora and more starting December 24th, 2021.

As comedian Nick Vatterott runs around the Chicago comedy scene, his night takes a surreal turn. Fresh off a heartbreak, a meltdown exposes a mind ravaged by stand-up comedy. Strange occurrences at various venues further confuse his reality. Could he be time traveling? Is he part of a multi-verse? Did he tell the spaghetti joke already on this set, or was that the earlier show? This is a film that’s one part comedy special, one part mushroom trip, and seven parts Disingenuous.

He has performed on Conan, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Comics Unleashed, AXS TV, What's Your F@%king Deal and has a Half Hour special on Comedy Central. Nick was a producer/writer/performer on Comedy Central’s stand-up sketch hybrid show Mash Up. He's written for MTV, The Critic's Choice Awards, Gorburger and Real Time with Bill Maher. He's done panels on Red Eye and made an appearance on Tru TV’s Friends Of The People. His album, For Amusement Only was named one of the top 10 albums of the year by Vulture, Laughspin and Splitsider. Splitsider also recently highlighted him in their On The Verge series. Vulture named him in their list of THE 50 comedians you should know. The Comedy Bureau called Nick's fake radio station comedy album KROCK90Q.BUZZ one of the year's TOP 100 THINGS IN COMEDY. His satirical ebook How to Make Money by Turning Your Twitter into an eBook made the Amazon Best Seller list. Vulture named his podcast Get Rich Nick "Best New Concept." He was the recipient of the prestigious Andy Kaufman Award and won a Webby for his podcast Heavyweight: A Sketch Show. Before heading off to NYC, Chicago Magazine listed Nick as “The Funniest Man in Chicago.”

"I'm super excited to team up with Comedy Dynamics for my live-action stand-up comedy film Disingenuous. My fans will be relieved to learn that Comedy Dynamics has cast me for the role of myself in the special, although there's always the chance my voice will be done by Chris Pratt."” said Nick Vatterott.

“I’ve wanted to work with Nick for years and we’re thrilled to finally be putting out his hilarious new special,” said Brian Volk-Weiss, Founder and CEO of Comedy Dynamics.
