Congratulations to Mura Masa on Two GRAMMY Nominations
Mura Masa (Alex Crossan) today received his first-ever GRAMMY nominations for his debut self-titled LP (Anchor Point/Downtown/Geffen) in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category and the Best Recording Package (with photography by Yoni Lappin, and additional photography by Salim Adams).
The Guernsey-born, London-based producer's debut LP was hailed as "a feast of sounds and flavors" (NPR Music), "forward thinking, irresistible" (The FADER), and "13 fanciful, introspective, brightly-shining songs" (Billboard), with further praise from The New York Times, Pitchfork, Noisey, and more.
A landmark year for 21-year-old pop auteur saw him perform to sold-out crowds worldwide, including Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago and London, and the biggest summer festivals in Coachella, Lollapalooza, FYF, Reading & Leeds, and more.
