FRIDAY, MAY 16 (LOS ANGELES, CA) - Corbyn Besson, the pop heartthrob known best as one-fifth of the multi-billion streaming and arena headlining boy band Why Don’t We, releases his new single, “Tied Up,” via BMG. The release marks the beginning of a new era for Besson as he embarks on a fresh chapter as an independent solo artist. Listen to “Tied Up” HERE and watch the music video HERE.

“One of my biggest goals this year is to make music that makes people feel good – and this track is just the beginning. I want my fans to feel like they can turn their bedroom into a dance floor,” Besson shares.

Blending R&B and pop with flirty lyrics, “Tied Up” is a feel-good track that channels early 2000s influences through a mature, fresh lens. Syncopated drums, bouncing toms, and sensual synths drive the track’s infectious groove, while Besson’s vocals and confident lyricism highlight his growth as both an artist and songwriter.

Produced by a powerhouse team including multi GRAMMY-winner Hit-Boy, 2X GRAMMY nominee Tenroc, and Latin GRAMMY-winner Trevor Muzzy, “Tied Up” showcases a sophisticated sonic evolution that signals what’s to come from Besson’s new era.

“I’m excited to keep the energy going with Corbyn for his new single” says Hit-Boy. “Shout out to Tenroc for bringing the production to life and making the whole process smooth.”

“I love the sound and direction Corbyn’s taking with his solo work,” adds Tenroc. “As soon as we connected and I heard his vision, I knew he needed a Tenroc bounce on the track. We ended up locking ourselves in the studio for a few weeks — ‘Tied Up’ came from us cooking up what we think the music world needs.”

Last month, Besson joined acclaimed electronic dance-pop duo, Two Friends, onstage for a surprise performance during their sold-out show at Red Rocks. They debuted their unreleased track “No One Else,” with Besson delivering a standout performance that electrified the crowd at the iconic venue. The moment offered fans an exciting glimpse into what’s next, showcasing yet another layer of Besson’s evolving sound.
