FRIDAY, AUGUST 1 (LOS ANGELES, CA) - Today, Corbyn Besson, the pop heartthrob best known as one-fifth of the multi-billion streaming and arena headlining boy band Why Don’t We, releases his new single, “Summer” featuring R&B icon Jeremih via BMG.

The single arrives alongside the announcement of Besson’s debut solo EP, due out this fall via BMG. Over the past year, Besson stepped outside his comfort zone and into an immersive creative journey that led to a sonically daring body of work. Blending his sublimely smooth vocals with a feel-good form of R&B-pop, his debut EP is both warmly nostalgic and irresistibly forward-thinking. With a bold new sound, high-profile collaborators, and an authentic creative voice, Besson’s eagerly awaited solo chapter is underway.
“This song is my ultimate summer anthem. Having Jeremih on it takes it to another level as I’ve been a fan of his for years,” Besson shares. “It’s a feel-good record that brings back all of my favorite memories growing up, and I hope it does the same for my fans.”
Earlier this summer, Besson kicked off his solo era with the infectious “Tied Up.” The track came to life with an A-list lineup of producers including, multi-GRAMMY winner Hit-Boy (Kendrick Lamar’s “Backseat Freestyle”), two-time GRAMMY nominee Tenroc (Jon Batiste, The Kid LAROI), and Latin GRAMMY winner Trevor Muzzy (Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj).
