Fan-Powered Music Platform Corite To Launch Music Industry Legend Rico Love’s Latest Project

The 18 Track Collaborative Project with Corite Will Feature Six Up-And-Coming Artists, Exclusive NFT sales on Upcoming Blockchain Platform

OCTOBER 14, 2021 - NEW YORK - Corite, the music platform decentralizing traditional industry funding models to grow artists’ careers, will launch the latest project from hit-making writer, producer and recording artist, Rico Love. The project, Presented by Rico Love, is a major step forward in Corite’s mission to empower independent artists through innovative alternatives to the traditional record deal.

Love has written and produced top tracks for artists including Beyoncé, Usher, Nelly, Trey Songz, Kelly RowlandPopSmoke and many others. Aside from writing and producing for international superstars, Love organizes and hosts an annual event for young music creatives called “We Love Music Conference.” Presented by Rico Love will see the hitmaker work with Corite on fan-funded campaigns for six up-and-coming artists, culminating in 6 EPs with 3 songs on each. The project will also include the sale of several exclusive NFTs on Corite’s upcoming blockchain platform, which was built with ChromaWay.

Up-and-coming artists, WifeyBaby and BranBaby, will release the first 6 tracks from Rico Love Presents. BranBaby’s “Mask Up” was the debut single, which dropped on October 1, 2021. WifeyBaby’s “UNHOLY MATRIMONY” is the latest single to be released from the project and will be available everywhere this Friday, October 15, 2021.

Rico Love said, “One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been empowering young artists. The existing recording industry model makes it difficult for many of them to find their way, and I’m excited that Corite sees a new path forward—where fans both fund and share in the success of the artists they believe in. With my new project I’m looking forward to working with a number of exciting new artists and can’t wait to share their music with you.”

Love’s decision to utilize Corite’s fan-powered platform to launch rising talent shows the continuing industry trend toward artist independence. Founded by Universal Music alumni Mattias Tengblad (CEO) and Emil Angervall (COO), Corite has established itself as the premier alternative to the conventional record deal for young, up-and-coming artists. Corite’s offerings include global distribution, fan-funded advances and promotion, music marketing, playlist pitching, NFT creation, and more. Corite allows artists to bring their creative vision to life while forging a stronger connection with their fans.

Corite CEO Mattias Tengblad said, “Launching Rico’s project is an exciting step for us. His phenomenal talent for nurturing artists and producing great music makes him an ideal partner in our mission. Having a songwriter and producer of Rico’s caliber work with us inspires fans and generates confidence from the artists—the communities we serve.”

Presented by Rico Love is the latest milestone for Corite, who earlier this year secured a partnership with L.A. Reid and Charles Goldstuck’s HITCO Entertainment, announced plans to launch a blockchain platform, and completed a $2.2 million pre-sale of its native $CO token.
