Drew Parker Releases “The Truck” Ahead Of 2024 Stadium Dates

Set for Grand Ole Opry Performance Tonight (4.12) +

Kicks off 13-date Run on Luke Combs’ “Grown’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour” Tomorrow (4.13)

Today (4.12), GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Drew Parker shares his newest single “The Truck” via Warner Music Nashville. Taking a modern twist on the classic country sound, the track teaches listeners a lesson of self-described “redneck wisdom.”

Written alongside Dylan Marlowe, James McNair (Luke Combs, Nate Smith) and Lindsay Rimes (Lady A, Kane Brown), the single is filled with “when life gives you lemons” antidotes as Parker sings about the ups and downs of life: “some days you’re the red dirt road, some days you’re the truck.” Filled with metaphors encompassing the southern lifestyle, Parker urges that it's okay to take each day and blessing “as it comes.”

Parker – the Grammy & CMA Award-nominated country hitmaker behind hits like Combs’ “Doin’ This” & “Forever After All” – grew up on ‘90s country titans like Ronnie Dunn, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson and more, and he continues leading the genre’s resurgence to organic country hits. Plus, he recently announced his signing with HARDY’s Relative Music Group for a global publishing deal.

In celebration of the new single, Parker will play the Grand Ole Opry tonight (4.12), and tomorrow (4.13), he’ll begin his 13-date run supporting Luke Combs on his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour in Milwaukee, WI.

Stay tuned for more exciting news from Parker coming soon.
